About me
I, Tamara Baumgartner Danilović, was born in 1974 in Zemun, Serbia.
After completing my studies at the Faculty of Special Education and Rehabilitation - Prevention and Re-socialization of Persons with Social Behavior Disorders, I received the title of Special Pedagogue.
After that, I completed my internship at the Special Hospital for Addictions in Belgrade. I passed the professional state exam at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia.
I completed my four-year education at the Institute of Mental Health in Belgrade, earning the title of family psychotherapist.
I am certified by the European Association for Psychotherapy-EAP.
Working with individuals, families and groups, I additionally gained practical psychotherapeutic experience in daily hospitals in Paunova and Institute of Alcoholism and Drug Addiction.
In addition to completing my systemic family psychotherapy training, I have the knowledge and skills that I have gained through additional shorter training in Transactional Analysis and Psychodrama, as well as attending congresses, workshops and seminars, including "Work with Trauma", "Adolescent Self-Injury", "Family constellation","Body psychodrama","Assessment of psychopathology of preschool and primary school children ", etc. In my work with clients I applie all the knowledge and skills I have acquired during my personal and professional development
I have applied my expertise as a specialist educator and psychotherapist in various fields, in more than 30 projects in the local community and international projects, in healthcare (individual, group and family psychotherapy) in education (as an associate and teacher) and in the non-governmental sector working with victims of human trafficking.
As one of the founders of the Citizens' Association "Zajedno zajedno", I participated in working with women who are victims of domestic violence.
In addition, I have many years of experience working with war victims and camp detainees.
Based on continuous professional development, life and professional experience in various fields, I believe thet I can be a great support to clients and help them in situations where they are facing different challenges, difficulties and problems. Your desire for change and growth and my commitment to work can be a great opportunity for lasting results that we will all be very pleased with.
I live and work in Belgrade, Subotica and Vienna. I am married and have two children from first marriage, now adult graduated students.
My professional choice and development was most influenced by psychiatrist and psychotherapist Viktor Frankl:
